According to statistics, India's crude steel production totaled 6.25 million tons in this November, the lowest level since September, 2012, due to weak demand from home appliance and automobile sectors.
In the January-November, India's crude steel production amounted to 72.338 million tons, up slightly by 1.9% year on year.
Meanwhile, the country's steel consumption rose slightly by 0.4% year on year in April-November period.
